Philly Steak&Cheese Sub Serves two - prep & cook time 20 minutes
  • 2 Sub Rolls
  • 5–8 oz. Roast Beef
  • ½ cup Beef stock
  • Green pepper
  • ½ onion
  • Minced garlic1
  • Mushrooms1
  • Swiss cheese1


  1. Thinly slice the onion to get nice half-circles.
  2. Slice the green pepper into thin slices about 2" long.
  3. Heat the beef stock in a skillet on medium to medium-high. Toss in the garlic, mushrooms, onions and green peppers, and sauté until the onions are translucent, and almost golden.
  4. Split and toast the rolls.
  5. Chop the roast beef roughly, and toss it in with the peppers and onions, until heated through and onions are golden.
  6. Layer on the filling onto the toasted buns and top with Swiss cheese.
